MATCH PREVIEW | Wolves next up for Rhinos Women

With a place in the top four all but mathematically assured, Leeds Rhinos Women travel to Victoria Park to take on Warrington Wolves this Sunday in round 12 of the Betfred Women's Super League, kick off 12pm.

The game is part of a double header with the Rhinos and Wolves Under-19s teams too, who take to the field afterwards (KO 2.30pm), but for Lois Forsell's side, they will have eyes on a similar result to the one at AMT Headingley where they scored 110 points in a record-breaking display.

Here's your match preview:

Opposition

A tough season for the Wolves continues with three games to go as Ged Ginty's side remain without a point and a win in all competitions in 2025.

Since losing out by their biggest defeat of the season so far against Leeds at AMT Headingley - the Rhinos scoring 20 tries in a record-setting 110-0 win - the Wolves have also lost out to York twice, St Helens, Wigan, Huddersfield and Barrow to stay planted at the bottom of the table. They also forfeited their home game against St Helens.

Hooker Dani Bound has been a particular standout in a disappointing season as she has four tries in 11 games for the Wolves. Half back Emma Knowles has led the goal kicking too with six in five games since signing from Wigan, whilst Kerrie Evans, Hannah Goddard, Isabelle Malyon, Sydney Alderman-Smith, Gracie Bradshaw, Nicole Barnett and Teneisha Fairbrother have recorded tries for the Wolves so far in 2025.

Focusing on their record against Leeds, the Wolves are in for a tough test on Sunday as they are yet to beat the Rhinos in any competition. Out of nine meetings, Leeds have come away with the win in six league clashes and also knocked the Wolves out of the Cup three times in 2019, 2022 and 2024, and 12 different players have scored three or more tries in convincing performances.

Leeds and Leigh are next up at Victoria Park as the Wolves play their final games at home before travelling to Wigan, where the Warriors can potentially lift the League Leaders' Shield if they chase down St Helens.
